Otto Neururer

The juvenile offender Sofia and the two elderly retired men, Heinz and Pastor Anton, set out to trace the footsteps of the blessed Tyrolean priest Otto Neururer, who was murdered by the National Socialists, despite many conflicts among themselves.

Otto Neururer, the Tyrolean priest, endures a 36-hour death struggle in the Buchenwald concentration
camp. Decades later, Heinz, an aging actor and son of a convinced National Socialist, sets out
together with the young offender Sofia and the Parkinson’s-stricken priest Anton to trace the
footsteps of the blessed Otto Neururer.

Driven by different motives and accompanied by constant
conflict, the strange trio sets off on a journey and, by the end, finds itself deeply connected to the
figure of Otto Neururer in its own way.
